Welcome to the bands website. Bobby Murray and Drivin' 'til Midnight are a cover band performing in West Tennessee and the surrounding areas.

The band plays country, southern rock and classic rock. We believe audience participation and likabilty are the keys to our success. Whether it's dancing or helping us sing Mustang Sally, we want our audience to enjoy themselves. Requests are a specialty. Most shows are comprised of about 40% requests.
Bobby is 27 years old and has been surrounded by music his entire life. He learned to play guitar at the age of 4. His first experience performing for an audience was in his church. At the age of eight he was performing at the Strand Theater in Millington, TN. His biggest influence was his father Robert Murray, who taught him how to play guitar. Bobby's entire family was into music and passed the love of it to him.
Bobby has played with some of the most sought after musicians in Nashville. These musicians include: Cowboy Eddie Long (steel guitar for Jamey Johnson), Wayd Battle (lead guitarist for Jamey Johnson), Jim "Moose" Brown, Kevin "Swine" Grant, Dave MacAfee (drummer for Toby Keith) and others. Cowboy, Moose and Swine are the top session players in Nashville. They are featured, along with Bobby, in the studio versions of Drive, Short for Gone and Pourin' Whiskey Down. The songs are included in our press kit. Please feel free to request one if interested.
Bobby Murray and Drivin' 'til Midnight have been playing together for approximately 3 years. All of the musicians are well seasoned veterans of the stage and are featured on the demo live tracks that were performed at The End Zone in Covington, TN. Since then, they have played well over 200 shows, including opening for John Conley & Joe Diffie at the Gates,TN Street Festival in 2008 and 2009. They have also performed for big events at Riverside International Speedway, including the World of Outlaws. American Legion Fair 2010 @ USA Stadium - Millington TN |

The Annual American Legion Fair will be kicking off in Millington TN at the USA Stadium. There will be all kinds of entertainment and rides. Promoters of the event say there will be more rides than The Mid-South Fair. The fair will start on June 3rd and run until June 6th. There is a $7 entry fee and wrist bands will be sold everyday for $20 to ride everything. Their website can be found at American Legion Fair 2010.. Bobby Murray & Drivin' til Midnight will be playing on Saturday June 5th from 7pm to 9pm on the US 51 Country Stage. Bring your kids and enjoy some great fun and music along with other attractions!

The band had a great show on the banks of the TN River for the 4th of July. We played about an hour and it started raining. During the rain they had an awesome fireworks display. The rain stopped about the same time the fireworks did and we cranked back up. Hope everyone got home safely.

Benefit For Terry and Charlotte Williams |

On Sunday May 17th the band will be playing a benefit for Terry and Charlotte Williams who's home has recently burned. Terry and Charlotte lost everything in this fire and we hope to be able to help them out. There will be barbeque plates sold starting at 3pm. The band will kick off at 4pm and play til who knows when. there will also be some special guest performances. Come on down and hang out. It's for a good cause!

The band will playing at Riverside International Speedway for the World of Outlaws sprint car races on Friday April 24th. The band will play from 4pm - 6pm. These are the bad boys of dirt track racing with the 410 sprint cars. If you have never been to one it's truly a sight to see. Come on out and enjoy some good music and some great racing!

The band will playing over at Riverside International Speedway on April 11th before the races. We will start playing at 3pm and play until 5pm. Afterward we will be sticking around to enjoy some racing and associate with everybody. This is a big Late Model race. You can't miss it!

The band will be playing a new show in Stanton, TN. at The Cypress Hut. They have a nice dance floor and a pretty big stage. First show is Friday, January 30th. Put on your dancing shoes and come on out and party with us. Show starts at 9pm.

The band had a great time in Hayti MO. New Years Eve. There were quite a few people there and everyone got plastered. Thanks to everyone from Tennessee who came and really made it a special time for the band. Photo's will be coming soon.

The band will be playing at Linda's Bar at 13240 Hwy 51 North, Halls, Tennessee 38040.. This is a new booking for the band so we would appreciate all the support we can get. Bobby has been working on getting this booking for a while now. Things finally came together. Show starts 9pm. Come on out and party with us!
